The Vanhaerents family’s contemporary art collection was founded by Walter Vanhaerents in the 1970s and continues to be developed today together with his children, Els and Joost.

Over the years, the family collection has grown into an internationally renowned collection featuring works by both established and emerging artists.

The collection is housed in a former industrial building in Brussels’ Dansaert district and encompasses a wide range of artistic disciplines, from painting and sculpture to photography, video, and monumental installations.
